Custom printed packaging: boxes, mailer boxes, paper bags and labels

Packaging is the item a brand reorders most often and checks least, until a print run comes back in the wrong colour or a carton collapses in transit. We find the factory in Vietnam, China or elsewhere in Asia that already makes your kind of packaging, check the dieline, material and colour on a sample before the run, inspect the order and ship it to wherever you pack.

  • Mailer boxes and cartons
  • Paper bags and labels
  • Printed to your artwork
Custom printed packaging

Most packaging is decided by four things: the structure (a rigid box, a folding carton, a corrugated mailer, a bag), the board or paper and its thickness, the print method and colours, and the finishing — foil, embossing, lamination, window or insert. We put those in writing with you, so every factory quotes the same specification and the sample is checked against it.

Colour is where print runs go wrong. We agree how colour is specified — process colours or spot colours, and on which paper — and check a printed proof or a pre-production sample before the run, rather than approving a screen image.

For shipping cartons and mailer boxes, strength matters as much as print. We specify the board grade and flute for the weight and the route, and where you need it, arrange transit testing before the first shipment.

If you want to claim recycled content, forest certification or recyclability on the pack, the claim needs evidence — a valid certificate for the supply chain, or test results — and the rules on environmental claims differ by market. We check the certificate with the body that issued it and tell you what the factory can and cannot document.

How it works

  1. 01 Your packaging brief The product, the type of packaging, sizes, quantities and your artwork or a reference.
  2. 02 Specification and quotes Structure, material, print and finish fixed in writing, and factories quoted on the same specification.
  3. 03 Dieline and sample Dieline confirmed, then a white sample for fit and a printed sample or proof for colour.
  4. 04 Production and inspection Production checked against the approved sample and inspected before shipment.
  5. 05 Shipment Packed flat or assembled as agreed, and shipped to your warehouse or packing line.

What we do — and the promises we keep

We put both in writing, so you know exactly what to expect from us.

We do

  • Find the factory that fits your type of packaging
  • Fix structure, material, print and finish in writing
  • Check dielines, white samples and printed proofs
  • Inspect the order and ship it to any country
  • Check certificates behind environmental claims

What we will not do

  • We do not own a factory, so we do not claim capacity we do not control
  • We do not quote a price, an MOQ or a lead time before the specification is fixed
  • We do not reproduce other companies’ logos or designs
  • We do not put an environmental claim on a pack without evidence behind it

Before you write to us

You do not need all of this to start a conversation — but the more of it you have, the faster we can give you a real answer instead of a range.

  • The product and its size and weight
  • Type of packaging, and a photo of anything similar
  • Quantity per size and design
  • Your artwork, or the brand colours and logo files
  • Finishing you want (foil, embossing, lamination, window, insert)
  • Where the packaging will be shipped and packed

Frequently asked questions

What kinds of packaging can you have made?

Rigid boxes, folding cartons, sleeves, corrugated mailer boxes and shipping cartons, paper bags, labels and stickers, and other printed packaging to your specification.

How do you make sure the colour is right?

We agree how colour is specified and on which paper, then check a printed proof or pre-production sample before the run, rather than approving a screen image.

Can we get a sample before ordering?

Yes. A white sample checks the structure and fit; a printed sample or proof checks the colour and finish. Both are approved before production.

Can the packaging carry a recycled or forest-certified claim?

Only with evidence: a valid certificate covering the supply chain, or the documentation the claim requires. We check the certificate with the issuing body, and the wording should follow the rules of the market where you sell.

What sets the minimum order and the price?

The structure, the material, the number of colours and finishes, and the quantity per design. We quote once the specification is fixed.

Rules on packaging and environmental claims differ by market and change over time. Confirm the current rules in the market where you sell; this page is not legal advice.
